Now you'll notice that you can make any changes you want in the debug.js file, and they will be picked up straightaway after a page refresh. When you are ready to share your plugin updates, zip it up and upload it on TFS for others to use.

Summary

In this chapter, we looked at how to create a custom client control that gets used in applications such as Visual Studio when a work item form that is expected to render our control is shown. We also saw how we can debug client controls and enable debug mode for TFS web access.

In the next chapter, we are going to take a look at how we can reinforce best practices with check-in policies.
